The hotel is located in a perfect place, close to (two blocks away, ca. 150-200 m from) the Marble Arch, near the the Hyde Park Spekers' Corner, where the buses from the airports come, where there is a metro station, enabling you to easily commute to other parts of the city, where most tourist busses begin their route or at least have a stop, and where the shopping part of the Oxford street begins. Madame Tussaud's and Sherlock Holems' Museums are at the 20 minutes walking distance. The areas is very quite, despite its central location, and in the neighbouhood one can easily find several good restaurants (Italian, Pakistani, Armenian, French, and Modern are the ones we have eaten in). It is a modest hotel situated in an old building, yet it is modernized enough to fulfill your needs. Without problems you can get an electric plug adapter in the reception, at no price. The atmosphere is familiar, the reception guys and the owner himself treat you like family members. The breakfast is freshly prepared according to your wish, either continental or traditional English, or a mixture of both. And the lady who prepares it is realy gentle and smiling. Everybody is helping you with good advice, when asked for.

Great location, price was very good given the hotel is only 2 minute walk from marble arch. Some great bars and restaurants really close by. Try Gail's bakery just round the corner on Seymour place or Freya's on Edgeware Road Very comfy bed in the room, superb very old lift, it's got to be from the early 20th century, really quaint and very original. Nice pleasant staff. There is a car park on the street that you can pre-book, nice and easy to access, it can be expensive, but hey, this is London parking

Stayed one night for the BST festival due to location. Had read a no of poor reviews so was a bit concerned - however staff v friendly , room clean , bed comfy, and all the basics were there. It's not 5 star luxury , it's a budget hotel and it's good for the price ( we paid £123 for a triple room on a sat night) location is amazingly convenient for central London. 4 min walk to Hyde park / marble arch. We didn't partake but breakfast is only £5 !

The staff was helpful and the hotel owner's daughter went out of the way to make my stay comfortable. The room was comfortable. Though I paid for a single room, I was given a double room which was a bonus as my stay was relatively long. I selected this hotel due to its location, in line with my itinerary. Though their regular cook was on leave, the hotel provide me with breakfast, which I appreciated.
